Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office District Four

The Village of Silverton continues its successful relationship with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for police services. By contracting for these services, the Village receives the benefits of specialized services, training and equipment offered by Hamilton County. At the same time, deputies from District 4, headquartered in Silverton, offer small-town personal contact to the public, while utilizing a large agency’s resources.

Under its contract with the Sheriff’s Office, the Village of Silverton provides deputies and vehicles which are specific and dedicated to Silverton, and which are on duty 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

The patrols are housed at the Silverton Memorial Municipal Building, 6943 Montgomery Road, Silverton, Ohio 45236. The deputies assigned to Silverton operate under the leadership of District Four Commander, Lieutenant Paul Naber.

Q: Can Village of Silverton staff provide police or accident reports, take reports, or perform other police related functions?
A: No, the Village of Silverton partners with the HCSO for police protection, resulting in a shared office space. Village Staff members do not have access to police records, nor are staff members trained to handle police matters. If you arrive at the district to handle a police matter, you will be advised to call the non-emergency line at 513-825-2280 if a deputy is not on site at the district.
