The Village will have newly elected members of Council and the Mayor officially sworn in at the Dec. 4 regular Council Meeting. John A. Smith will be sworn in as mayor, along with three council members. Council Member Idella Thomson and Britt Born will continue to serve as council members, along with newly elected Don Kincaid. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. with the swearing-in ceremony.

Don’t forget: Our annual Tree Lighting is just around the corner! Join us on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Train Station in Silverton Park. Enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and a special visit from Santa as we light the tree and welcome the holiday season.
